|Recommended: YesGreat — Great place to live And it's so sweet that Lucky can provide help to take care of my plants during winter break when I'm back home. Thanks RJ
|Recommended: YesGood, but still can be improved — great location to school. However, attitudes of some staff are far below average.
|Recommended: YesDeluxe — Luxury
|Recommended: YesA comfortable, convenient, pleasant living environment for students. — The place is very convenient, close to Fresh Market and Walgreens, and many academic buildings. The facilities are of high quality and provide comfortable living experience.
|Recommended: YesLove Lucky apt — I really love Lucky's security services. I am not afraid of intruders or noises at night, thanks to Lucky.
|Recommended: YesIt's a prime location for classes and the employees are great — The building and decor is outdated, especially on the lower floors, so definitely try to live on one of the upper floors.

|Recommended: YesI think this is a convenient and good housing choice as a sophomore or junior at UW-Madison — I like living at lucky as a sophomore because its an upgrade from a dorm but not too expensive. If you are sharing a room, this apartment complex is very reasonably priced. my roommates and I like the layout of the apartment and the square footage is adequate for the amount of people. We do not think every room should have the same rent price. My room is 90 sq feet smaller then one of my other roommate's and we pay the same price, I think that is unfair. However, individual leasing is a benefit because I only need to worry about myself when it comes to payments. I think the terrace is really nice in good weather and the common areas are always clean.
|Recommended: YesAwesome apartment — Lucky apartment is located in the middle of campus. Fresh market and restaurants are very convenient for students to live. All stuff are very nice to residents. Definitely recommend Lucky apartment.
|Recommended: YesNOT BAD — CLOSE TO CLASSES
|Recommended: NoEh — They moved us into a unit that was cleaned and prepared, and when I moved in it was far from that. The manager then admitted the unit was not properly prepared, and things have generally followed that trend since then. The maintenance staff has a tendency to be either very friendly or very rude, service requests take days or weeks to be attended to, and a select few seem intent on upholding a dorm-like environment, despite myself paying 640 a month to live in an apartment. The best part is that they can't even keep the hot tub open when people would want to use it Good thing I'm paying for it anyway, right The best part is that next year that random fee also goes up, despite cable being taken away If it weren't for RJ, I'd be much more genuinely upset that I was pressured into resigning in September.
response from property -Kellen, I'm sorry you're having a negative experience at Lucky this year, but I'm glad to hear RJ's name as a positive. I'm at [email protected] if you want to share any specific negative experiences that I can help address.
We made the decision to cancel our cable contact (usage was very low) and to increase our Internet contract to 1GB to provide a better streaming experience. It's always difficult to take away an amenity, but it's never our intent to provide less services rather to allocate them in more meaningful ways. I apologize if we missed the mark for you.
|Recommended: YesFriendly fun place to live — The dorm program at Lucky is a great way to live on campus. It is filled with community events and the apartments are spacious and modern. The walls are thick enough that there are rarely problems with noise.
Thank you for your feedback, Lucas! I'm glad you're enjoying Dorm@Lucky.

|Recommended: YesThe website is terrible — it is not anywhere near convenient. I am confused about the new website for rental payments
Bingchen, oh no! I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the new resident portal. Can we help? The team can walk you through whatever you need, just let me know: [email protected].
|Recommended: NoPoor construction and online system — The walls have no sounds insulation. I can even hear someone's talking next door. And the online payment system is not understandable enough.
Yunke, that's unfortunate to hear as we actually did quite a bit of soundproofing during construction to avoid this very problem. I'm sorry to hear it didn't work as intended in your apartment.
We did just change to a new payment system in December. If this is the one that you're having issues with please let me know ([email protected], we're happy to help walk you through it. I hope with time you'll find it's much easier to work with than our old one.
